Trinity Health will launch a National Smokefree Movies Action Week, February 19 through February 26, the day of the Academy Awards are broadcast.

The campaign is designed to provide education and raise awareness around the issue of the depiction of smoking in youth-rated films.

The campaign includes a consumer/advocate email engagement directed toward the CEOs of the parent companies of the major movie studios and the Motion Picture Association of America.

Campaign materials have been shared with Trinity Health’s ninety hospitals in twenty-two states.

Please tune into Trinity Health’s social media channels — Facebook, TwitterLinkedIn —when the campaign launches on Sunday, February 19, 2017.
